Be Cautious – Avoid Payment Scams

Unfortunately, a cottage industry has cropped up that tries to scam immigrants. People will call posing as government officials and demand payment to process your case and/or fix any problems.

Even if they have details of your case, it’s important to know that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services department will never ask for payment over the phone or in an email.
